Is the quest to stay looking younger a constant battle?

Looking beautiful and young is something that everyone strives for and we will go to any extent to achieve it.  Each year millions of dollars are spent on lotions, potions and surgeries in effort to turn back the pages in time. But what if the quest for beautiful skin is sitting right underneath our noses.

But when we look in the mirror everyday do we really think about its function? I bet not. Your skin is a living breathing part of your body and requires nourishment in order to stay youthful. Recently, researchers have found that negative thoughts can lead to premature cell death and that equals aging. How does that happen?  Well, the lifespan of a cell is dictated in part by a cellular structure called a telomere, which protects genetic data and helps cells divide.

Each time a cell divides, the telomere shortens; eventually it becomes too short and the cell dies. The University College of London found that hostile thinking also had the same effect on the aging process. So perhaps when we fear aging, we focus on it with negativity, therefore, polluting our self-image, thus manifesting the very things we fear.
